Our Story
MedPrep AI was founded by Brendan Adkinson, an MD-PhD candidate at the Yale School of Medicine. Brendan is from rural Ohio and was accepted into multiple Ivy MD-PhD programs. His PhD research includes a focus on the ethical use of AI, and he has received multiple grants including $120,000 from the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities.
The MedPrep AI team has a simple but ambitious social mission: To make world-class admissions consulting accessible to everyone—regardless of their socioeconmic status. The knowledge and technology behind MedPrep AI have been supported by VentureWell, the Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking, and Yale Law School's Entrepreneurship and Innovation Clinic.
