Our Story
MedPrep AI was founded by Brendan Adkinson, an MD-PhD candidate at the Yale School of Medicine. Originally from rural Ohio, Brendan was accepted into multiple Ivy MD-PhD programs, where his research focuses on the ethical use of AI. He and his brother are the first in their family to go into medicine.
The MedPrep AI team has a simple but ambitious social mission: To make admissions consulting accessible to everyone—regardless of their socioeconmic status. The knowledge and technology behind MedPrep AI have been supported by VentureWell, the Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking, and Yale Law School's Entrepreneurship and Innovation Clinic.
